As someone who spent a rotation at a summer hospital internship working in the ER, I can confirm that the stress level is real and the desire to see patients treated humanely is a universal feeling. Even if they're from Pittsburgh. ;-)
I spent a summer - including a July 4th - at Pitt so I do feel in a position to judge. But I would have said the same about Detroit or Philadelphia to be fair!
