I radically dislike the static language that parents use with adult children to describe the past. “I don’t recall you ever volunteering to go to the dump.” Instead of, “Thank you so much for helping me”.
That was his garbage that he should have sorted. He made a job for you by not doing it right to begin with.
I also have a five bin system, and I reach an incandescent rage point when my adult children put things in the wrong bin!
